
Tony North
Tony North has thirty years’ experience working and studying in the fields of psychology and education.
In 1988 he received a first class BSc degree in Psychology from the University
of Nottingham. He then worked for several years both as a clinical psychologist working in the area of adult mental health and as a research assistant on studies of dementia and child language disorders.
Tony returned to academia and in 1994 received a Masters in Education from Manchester University. After this he went to the USA to study for a Masters in Developmental Psychology at Penn State University, focusing on gender, emotion and moral development. He graduated in 1997 and went on to take a minor in educational theory.
For the next two years Tony taught history in a secondary school before returning to the UK in 2001. Here he continued to work in education, and since 2004 he has run his own business designing and delivering workshops for schools.
In his spare time Tony avidly pursues his hobby of photography.
